Volunteer Opportunities

The Farmington Valley MudHogs is a volunteer-driven organization offering a number of opportunities for you to be involved. We rely on the assistance of the parents, and former players, to make this a positive experience for the entire MudHogs family.

Coach / Assistant Coach / Flag Coach / Cheer Coach

Talk to a member of the Board for more information

Chain Gang and Markers

Assist with field markers and chains during your child’s game

Game Play Tracker

Work with the coaches of your child’s team to track plays to assure
that each child gets the appropriate playing time

Football/Cheer Team Parent

Responsibilities include facilitating communication between the
league, coaches and parents

Field Assistance

Help set-up and clean-up the fields before and after the games

Fundraising

Assist with a variety of fundraising efforts like the annual candy sale
and end-of-the-year banquet

HogGear Assistant

Help staff the HogGear table on Sundays

Announcers

Help announce the games from the booth

Flag Team Referees

Referee flag games on Sunday mornings, knowledge of rules and regulations required, a flag referee clinic will be held

Equipment Distribution and Collection

Help with the distribution and collection of equipment at the beginning and end of the season

Registration Assistance

Help register the players during the first week of practice

Snack Shack

Sign up to staff the snack shack during the games
